The Haulmax product range is the culmination
of over 20 years research into the Haulage
Industry and in particular the requirements
of
long-distance bulk haulage vehicles. |

Mining companies today are becoming increasingly confronted with diminishing
primary ore bodies and being forced to reassess the economic viability of
secondary mineral deposits. These deposits are inherently smaller in size and
may be located at a considerable distance from the primary processing facility.
Distances of the haul roads can vary from a few miles/kilometres to some 30 to
50 kilometres which are considered to be well outside the range of the traditional
'in-pit' style large off – highway haulers, designed more for 1 to 5 Kilometre range.
Due specifically to the tire load speed ratings.
Additionally these roads are typically developed to suit the mine site topography
and surface, thus robust suspension and components are required to handle the
often harsh applications.
Whilst modified modern on–highway trucks exist which may somewhat fulfil these
applications, there remains a distinct absence of a specifically designed hauler
using the one source of components that has global support capabilities. . |
